Model Disclaimer 

The models included in this application have all been published and validated under a range of conditions. However, the user is warned that no model is perfect, and predictions may not match what transpires in the real world. The extent of error will depend on the characteristics of the input data, particularly if these data exceed the range over which the models were validated. In addition, gross errors in predictions can result if the user is not familiar with the models and makes errors in the input files (e.g. specifying discharge units in ft3/sec rather than m3/sec, formatting errors). All predictions should be examined carefully!

Download and Set-up Instructions

1. Click on the Download Link above.

2. Select the 'Save' button and navigate to a directory on your computer to save the set-up program.

3. Once the download has complete either. 

• Navigate to the directory on your computer where you saved the set-up program and double click on the set-up “CRFSS v2.0 set-up.exe”.

or

• From 'My Computer>Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs' click on the 'Install' button.

• Note: You will still need to locate the set-up program. 

4. Follow set-up instruction on your screen.

• Addition of Tributary Sediment Input Loading dialogue.

• Users Guide brought up to date.

• Import facility for WAPA SCADA data and GCMRC Discharge Data.

• The Export function now saves a separate file that contains the High and Low points of a wave.

• Variable Time Step for Unsteady Model (password protected).

• Display of Cross Section Graph can be turned on or off.

• Colors of the Time and River Mile graphs can be changed.

• Change of the Export Time Stamp to be more compatible with Excel.
